Spiritual formation is a vital part of each child’s development. Parents and the church are partners in the responsibility.

Children from birth through grade five are under the care of the staff and nurturing adults of the Children’s Ministry. Our desire is to support families and help children develop a strong foundation in the Christian faith. This has always been a strong Fellowship priority.

Sunday Mornings

"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it . . . " Proverbs 22:6
With a goal of “weaving faith into today’s families”, all of our classes study the same topic on any given week. This allows families to continue each Sunday’s focus at home throughout the week.

10:30 Service
Available for children Preschool – Grade 3
Children worship with their families in the main service and are dismissed prior to the sermon.
We believe that children should participate in part, or all, of the main worship service each Sunday. They can and should learn to take part in the worship of God. They may not understand everything, but they learn more than we think!
We encourage families to worship together during one of our service hours. We provide Junior Church during the 10:30 service to allow younger children an alternative to the adult sermon, while still participating in part of the main service.

Other Opportunities

Kids Club LogoKids Club

Our theme for Kids Club is “Getting kids into the Bible, and the Bible into kids!” Lessons use Group’s LIVE curriculum, with a focus on getting to know God, building trust in God, sticking with God, and putting God first.
Kids Club goes beyond the classroom setting of Sunday School to bring the Bible into activityoriented learning, with an emphasis on skills, achievements, relationships, and service.

Summer Bible Camp logoSummer Bible Camp

This week-long summer program is packed full of music, games, crafts, snacks, and Bible adventures!

Safety & Digital Check-Ins

As we continue to improve our focus on child safety, we have rearranged classrooms so that the upstairs wing will be for children only (nursery through grade eight).  This helps us keep the wing reserved for our volunteers, our children, and their parents.  It also allows our volunteers to keep a close watch on all the children and make sure they're safe, and ensure no one else is in the wing with the children.

Kids Club Pine Car DerbyAs part of this process, we are using an electronic check in system.  You'll see a check in station when you bring your child to the Nursery or to Sunday School.  You and your child will receive paired stickers so that our workers know who is allowed to pick up your child when the service is over.  Only our volunteers and people with stickers (children & their parents) will be allowed in Kid's Wing during the service.

All families with children from nursery through middle school need to complete a Family Information Form (just once/family). Completing this ahead of time will greatly speed up your first check in, and you will be able to use te self check-in stations (though we do have volunteers at the Check In Desk to help you if you need!).  Pre-printed versions of the form are also located at the Welcome Center and Check-In Desk, which can be completed and returned to either of those locations or directly to Jess Silva.

About Fellowship Kids

Our Mission

Matthew 28:18-20
We strive to teach children to:
Build up one another in love
Learn and obey the teachings of Jesus
Believe and share the Good News

Our Vision

Deuteronomy 6:5-7
Children who love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Families that build their homes around the Lord and His Word.

Our Approach

To Teaching and Learning
We believe that children learn best when interacting with nurturing adults and a small group of peers. We strive to keep our classes small with two adults in each classroom. They use a hands-on approach to learning by addressing each learning style. We use primarily Group Publishing materials in the programs that we offer.
